Offense has the ball in their frontcourt. The ball is simply deflected by the defense but no possession was gained by the defense. The offense gets the ball back after the deflection and the shot clock might have been reset to 20 by the shot clock operator.  Another emphasis on overall clock and shot clock awareness to make sure that we do not put a reset that is improper.
