Incorrect Reset Block Shot

Offense has the ball and drives to the basket. There is a clear block or deflection by the defense with 9 seconds on the Shot Clock. The Shot Clock is incorrectly set to 20 seconds. There was never a shot attempt so the Shot Clock should stay at 9. This is a clear example of the crew not being aware of the Shot Clock position after a clear violation by the defense. Officials and shot clock operators must slow down in order to get this right and not give the team with the ball more time incorrectly.
