Defense On Defense Contact

This is an example of call what you see, see what you call.  This is a tight game in OT.  The white team is running their offense and a defender appears to trip over his own teammate.  The official sees the player go down, but does not know how he got there.  He calls a foul on the white team when there was no contact by any white team player.  The officials briefly talk, but only discuss where the inbound spot should be.  The calling official should probably have been over ruled and the play ruled as an inadvertent whistle and white would retain the ball.  Since he was not over ruled, the ball was awarded to the visiting team in a very tight overtime situation.
